Accountability is the fundamental structure that keeps the conversation going and helps the coach and client have a mutual understanding, what goals the client agrees to start working on.
This helps people stay-on-track as they plan and commit to taking action and in return, learn from the action they take, or don’t take.

The planning phase establishes new habits and routines, determines when and clients will begin these actions and envisions how these changes will fit into their life.
The most effective behavior change strategies are stage-specific interventions that target the present mindset clients have as they progress from one stage to the next.
Precontemplation (not thinking about change)

Preparation (getting ready to make a change)
Action (practicing the new behavior)
